Newly-accredited Ambassador: PM accepts credentials of Sri Lankan Ambassador

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing  accepted the credentials of the newly-accredited Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr. J. M. Janaka Priyantha Bandara at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Chairman office in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday morning.

Then, they discussed bilateral relations and friendship, boosting tourism industry, Myanmar’s assistance to Sri Lanka, cooperation in economic and agriculture sectors and political reforms of the two countries.

After the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar posed a documentary photo. Also present were joint-secretary of the SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and Director General of the Protocol Department U Wunna Han.
