Insect Traps: Insect Traps installed in Avocado Farms

Pest researching will be undertaken at the chosen avocado farms with the fund of Mekong-Lanchang cooperation across Mandalay region for one year. Experts from Agricultural Department Myanmar, Plant Protection Division, installed the insect traps in the avocado farms started from first week of May.

The insect traps will also be installed in 2 avocado farms in Pyin Oo Lwin and Taung Gyi, Shan State (South). According to the research, the procedures of eradicating pests will be made. This research plan is important for international markets but not for exporting to China and to meet the international standards.
