










Chairman of Palaung Self-Administered Zone Tar Thein Zaw, Chairman of Kokang Self-Administered Zone U Myint Swe and Chairman of Wa Self-Administered Division U Nyi Nap visited the Diamond Jubilee Museum of Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) and observed the broadcasting process on Sunday in Tatkon Township of Nay Pyi Taw.
During their visit, officials explained the department’s broadcasting activities and ethnic TV broadcasting.
They looked around the Convergence News Room, News Control Room, News Studio Room, 40 galleries featuring equipment and materials used in the TV broadcasts on display, live broadcast vehicles, reporting formats, documentary photos of the participants in the series that have been broadcast for generations, musical instruments, news studios, antique records and other accessories used in the radio programmes.
The MRTV Director-General U Ye Naing presented MRTV DTH satellites and accessories to the self-administered zones and division chairmen. The chairmen also presented cash and foodstuffs to the respective ethnic nationalities working for the ethnic television channels.
