Model green village: Model green village prize awarded

The coordination meeting of region rural development supervisory committee and the awarding ceremony of model green village prize was held at the meeting hall of Bago Region Rural Development Department under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development on May 12.

Next, the head officer of Bago Region Rural Development Department U Myo Aung clarified the work implementations in 2021-2022 fiscal year and work plans for 2022-2023 fiscal year and the chief minister gave necessary instructions on providing water supply and electrification in the rural area, educating agriculture and livestock breeding to the local people and establishment of oil crop plantations.

Then, the Chief Minister awarded district level model green prize to Pyay district, township level prize to Nattalin Township and village level prize to Pha-Ye Village of Thanatpin Township.

Afterward, the chief minister and party inspected the GIS and Engineering capacity building training and provided 340,000 Kyats of cash assistance for the trainees.

Later, the Chief minister and party viewed the facilitated machines and equipments for acquiring drinking water in rural area and water purifying process of mobile water purified machine.
