Performance enhancement: MoC opened performance enhancement training

The opening ceremony of performance enhancement training (1/2022) for Anti-Illegal trade eradication was held at the Ministry of Commerce, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on May 9 with the attendance of Union Minister for Commerce Dr. Pwint Hsan.

Speaking at the ceremony, the union minister said that the major deterrents in the successful implementation for the economic objectives exist in the successive eras; the illegal trade resulted in widespread of corruption, eruption of commercial crimes and spoiling in rule of law, losses of revenues deserved for the country, downgrading of domestic entrepreneurs’ competitiveness, posing dangers on the consumers and bad impacts on the national security and health sector etc.

Next, the deputy minister U Nyunt Aung clarified necessaries on the training. The opening ceremony was attended by the senior officials from the departments and the officials concerned and trainees.

The training will take place for two weeks at the assembly hall of the consumers’ affairs department under the Ministry of Commerce and a total of 30 trainees will be attended, it’s reported.
