Printing and Publication: MoI Union Minister meets Printers and Publishers

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn held meeting with Printers and Publishers at the Printing and Publishing Department in Yangon on Sunday.

At the meeting, the Union Minister said that the writings, sayings and publishings will remain as records in the future so that writings and publishings are needed to be taken seriously.

The Union Minister called on the attendees to carry out printing and publishing tasks in line with rules, regulations and code of conduct.

He also added that today, unscrupulous people are obstructing media industries in various ways which aimed to publish true information of the country and combat false news.

No matter how much hindering the media industries of the Ministry of Information, they will try for flowing of authentic news to the people and combating false news.

The Union Minister urged to work together to do the right thing for the future of the country and Myanmar society.

Later, the Director General of Information and Publishing Relations Department reported on supervising in line with 2014 Printing and Publishing Law and the printers and publishers participated in the discussion.
