Social Welfare Activities: MSWRR Union Minister inspects work process in Dawei

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khine met with the staff from the Department of Social Welfare and the Department of Disaster Management of Dawei District on Saturday.

During the meeting, the Union Minister clarified the Quick Win Project which is being organized by the Ministry and urged the officials to make effort in implementing the project.

Afterwards, the Union Minister inspected the pre-school and provided toys, snacks and hand sanitizers for the children.

The Union Minister and party later met with the officials of regional government led by U Myat Ko, Chief Minister of Taninthayi Region and discussed about the development programs for the children, women and elderly, COVID-19 prevention activities, disaster emergency response and rehabilitation.

Afterwards, they visited to Dawei home for aged and provided cash, blankets and hand sanitizers.
