First Lady Jill Biden arrives in Otopeni, Romania

U.S. First Lady Jill Biden arrived in Otopeni, Romania Friday after departing from Mihail Kogalniceanu Military Base where she had thanked U.S. troops deployed to Romania.

She served Friday dinner to U.S. service members and delivered bottles of ketchup, which elicited cheers from the troops because there is a shortage of the condiment on the base.

On Saturday in Bucharest, Mrs. Biden is planning to be briefed on humanitarian efforts, meet with Romanian first lady Carmen Iohannis and tour a school where Ukrainian refugee students are enrolled before departing for Slovakia.

The following day in Kosice, Slovakia, First Lady will visit a city-operated refugee center and a public school that also hosts Ukrainian refugee students.
