Capacity Building: Ministry Of Industry Organized A 2-Day Workshop

Union Minister of Industry Dr Charlie Than attended a Capacity Building Workshop for State-Owned Enterprises, held at the meeting hall of the ministry.

The factory managers and the officials from the region and state also joined the workshop via virtual system. In his speech, the Union Minister said that the officers must be proficient in the theories and principles of economy as well as the leadership skills and they need to be able to build good relations.

In a market economy, business cannot be carried out in a traditional way. It is necessary to carry out innovations, Product innovation and Innovation of production methods.

They need to continuously train themselves to incorporate marketing strategies and innovations. He said it is important for the ministry to mobilize a capable staff for this.

The workshop later continued and officials from respective departments discussed the development of business ideas, Marketing Procurement of raw materials and inventory management, Production Costing for Services Business planning, Employee Management and Productivity and business plan. The 2-day workshop was attended by 143 senior officials from the Ministry of Industry.
