Rocket captured mid-air after launch and re-entry

A rocket launch company has successfully captured the first stage of a rocket in mid-air using a helicopter after the rocket launched a number of satellites from New Zealand.

The mission by Rocket Lab was deployed 34 satellites into synchronous orbit for a variety of customers.

The unique aspect of the mission – dubbed "There and Back Again" – was the use of a helicopter and parachute system to capture the first stage of the rocket in mid-air.
