Bosnian former footballer and coach Osim dies

Hundreds gathered at Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo on Sunday to pay tribute to former Bosnian football player and manager, Ivica Osim, hours after he died at the age of 81.

Osim played in France before turning to a career as a coach that included coaching the national teams of Japan and the former Yugoslavia.

In 2016, he was decorated by Japan's government for his contribution to the game of football in the country. He was died in Graz, Austria, where he and his wife lived in recent years.
