Myancopharm Vaccines: 1 Million Doses Of Vaccines To Be Distributed to MoH

The drug ratification document of the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health for Myancopharm COVID-19 has been received on 25th April.

1 million doses of Myancopahrm COVID-19 vaccines will be distributed to the Ministry of Health starting April 29th according to General Manager DrAungZaw of the Ministry of Industry.

Dr Aung Zaw, General Manager, Ministry of Industry said “Myancopharm COVID-19 vaccines have been started to produce at Myanma Pharmaceutical Factory (YwaThaGyi Branch) on 10th March 2022. Currently, the production from 780 liters RTF bulks will be completed on 27th April and from this amount, 1 million doses of vaccines can be produced and we will send these 1 million doses to the Ministry of Health. We received drug ratification from the Food and Drug Administration on 25th April. More RTF bulks will be received on 1st May for the 2nd time and we will continue to produce 1 million doses of vaccines monthly to distribute to the Ministry of Health.”

The General Manager of the Ministry of Industry added that Chinese experts from the Sinopharm CNPG have closely supervised in producing the vaccines. They could study not only the technique on production of the vaccines but also quality control check. By producing the vaccines in local, people can be available the vaccines at the affordable price.
