Press release: Appointment of Algerian ambassador agreed

The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has agreed to the proposed appointment of Mr. Abdelhamid BOUBAZINE as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, with residence in Hanoi.

Mr. Abdelhamid BOUBAZINE was born on 30 June 1955. He graduated from National School of Administration in 1979.  He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria in 1979 and he served levels of national duties as of 1980.

He was appointed as Algerian Ambassador to Mozambique accredited also to Swaziland, Malawi and Denmark. Since December 2021, he has been serving as Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam. He is married with three children.
