Prince Harry leads Invictus Games closing ceremony

The Invictus Games sporting event for wounded, injured and ill service personnel and veterans closed on Friday night with the medal ceremony and a speech from Prince Harry.

The closing ceremony was also attended by Dutch King Willem-Alexander. In the afternoon, the Prince visited the final of the wheelchair basketball tournament between the Netherlands and the United States and met the Dutch delegation for the Invictus Games.

Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games to aid the rehabilitation of injured or sick military service members and veterans, by giving them the challenge of competing in sports events similar to the Paralympics.
