Illegal Trade: Illegal items worth over 178 million Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On April 19, 20, 21 and 22, undocumented motorbike spare parts and goods, an unregistered vehicle and undocumented vehicle spare parts were seized in Shan State, Mon State, Yangon Region and Bago, Taungoo and Thayawaddy districts of Bago Region.

In total, illegal items worth over 110 million Kyats were seized on the 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd of April. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
