Zoo animals in Santiago enjoy Easter egg treats

Animals at Buin Zoo outside Chile's capital Santiago celebrated Easter Sunday with special treats they found inside painted ostrich eggs.

Meerkats and tapirs were among the animals being treated to mark the Christian holiday.

Zoo director said it was "stimulating" for the animals to have to work to find their food. The "colorful celebration" was also a show for attraction's visitors.
