Media Development: MOI Union Minister Met GNLM BOD

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met Board of Directors of the Global New Light of Myanmar Daily in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The Union minister discussed to upgrade the Global New Light of Myanmar newspaper from its current status and distribute it internationally and to spread the truth about the current situation in Myanmar to the international community.

He said the real situation of the country and the development need to reach the international community, urging them to make the newspaper to be a more widely read media, attracting the international interest. He added the need to be able to publish news with more unique features, Myanmar’s strong political, business, social goals and activities, news that is currently of interest.
