
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 1,401 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 20,143 lab specimens within 24 hours. 3 patients have died due to the disease while 1,729 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 601,020 with 19,394deaths and 550,882 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
