Liquor stores drop Russian-sourced vodka

Governors and lawmakers in numerous U.S. states are seeking to add to the financial squeeze on Russia over its war against Ukraine. Some states have directed government-run wine and liquor suppliers to pull Russian-sourced alcohol from their shelves.

Ohio, along with Iowa, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Utah and Virginia, all states that control the sale of alcohol, have ceased the purchase and sale of Russian-sourced alcohol, joining a pro-Ukranian movement along with some bars and private businesses.

Green Mark Vodka and Russian Standard Vodka are two brands of the liquor made by Russian Standard and sold in the United States.
