French NATO troops land in Romania

French military video showed troops arriving in Romania on Monday as part of NATO military reinforcements sent to Eastern Europe due to tensions with Russia. The troops and armored vehicles descended into Constanta under snowfall.

Last Friday, France announced it will deploy 500 troops with armored vehicles as part of NATO forces to Romania. NATO countries have agreed to send thousands of troops, backed by air and naval support, to protect allies near Russia and Ukraine in response to President Vladimir Putin's decision to invade.
