Spain sends equipment and supplies to Ukraine

Two Spanish aircraft took off from Torrejon de Ardoz air base outside Madrid on Sunday carrying supplies to Ukraine. The Airbus A400M military aircraft were loaded with personal protection equipment and sanitary supplies which are being sent to Ukraine as it continues to fight a Russian invasion of the country.  

Scattered fighting was reported in Kyiv on Sunday and battles broke out in Ukraine's second-largest city, Kharkiv, as the Russian invasion continued. Amid mounting tensions, Ukraine announced that a delegation from the country had agreed to meet with Russian officials for talks.
