Kyiv residents in self-defense training set up by far right

Residents of Ukraine's capital attended a self-defense training session organized by the far-right nationalist party Right Sector. The training attendees were given basic information on the safe handling of weapons, first aid and orientation.  Amid warnings that Russia could invade Ukraine, training sessions organized by various parties and groups are held around Ukraine almost on a daily basis.

The self-defense training in Kyiv was organized so residents will know "how to behave during shelling and invasion of enemy army, "said Tayra, who's commanding the volunteer evacuation unit of Angels of Tayra. The unit is a volunteer organization providing medical support in the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone. People of diverse backgrounds and age groups attended Sunday's training.
