Authorities in Manitoba, Canada say protesters are expected to leave the last remaining blockade at Emerson, Manitoba with the Mounties escorting the vehicles out. The blockade on Highway 75 began on February 10. It was one of several blockades in Canada, which also included Ambassador Bridge connecting Windsor, Ontario with Detroit, Michigan.

RCMP Media Relations Officer,Sgt. Paul Manaigre said "Communication, as you can see, resulted in what we have today," "In a short time, this is going to be open. To me, it is the best course of action. We're going to have nobody charged. Nothing towed, nobody injured. No arrests. It's a perfect solution,"

A spokesman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said, at its peak, approximately 75 vehicles maintained the blockade in Emerson.
