Vaccination Programme: COVID-19 vaccination continues in regions and states

The vaccination programme is one of the most important activities in the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 disease. Doctors and nurses from public hospitals, Tatmadaw medical teams, healthcare workers and volunteers are working hard to administer COVID-19 vaccines in different states and regions.

The COVID-19 vaccine is inoculat­ed daily to target groups regardless of race or religion. On 13th February, COVID-19 vaccines were injected to people in 26 townships in Ayeyawady Re­gion, five townships in Rakhine State and seven districts in Mandalay Region, respectively.
