








Decorative Floats which joined the Diamond Jubilee Union Day Ceremony from Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States were parked at Tabaung ground in front of the Uppata Santi Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw for public observance.
On Sunday, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and wife, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint, Nay Pyi Taw Council’s Chair Dr Maung Maung Naing, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint and Deputy Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung and Nay Pyi Taw Council members made a visit there and enjoyed the traditional dance performances on the decorative floats.
The Union Ministers and party also viewed the sales of national races traditional foods. The decorative displayed the culture, tradition, customs and local products of the ethnic people to raise the awareness of national integration and cultural values. The display of decorative floats and ethnic food fair are available between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm till the 15th of February.
