Singing Competition: Grand Final Event of “Tu Shin Hnwal Pyaw Gita Pwal Taw”

“Tu Shin Hnwal Pyaw Gita Pwal Taw” Singing Competition, which marks Diamond Jubilee Union Day successfully concluded on 11th February.

At the Grand Final Third Round, five contestants, representing Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyawady, Ayeyawady and Bago Regions competed with two songs each.  Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn sent a congratulatory video message to the competition.

Zin Thu Thu Tun from Ayeyawady Region won first prize while Cho Mi Mi Zaw from Ayeyawady Region and Chit Nu from Bago Region won second and third prizes respectively. Five special prizes were also presented to the contestants from Magway and Yangon Regions, Kachin and Kayin States.

The outstanding awards were also presented to two contestants from Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. 10 million kyats cash award was presented for the first prize winner, 6 million kyats for the second, 4 million kyats for the third winner, 2 million kyats each for outstanding awards and 1 million kyats each for the special prize.

“Tu Shin Hnwal Pyaw Gita Pwal Taw” Singing Competition has been held every Friday night since 26 November 2021. First round of the competition was done by Judges’ decision while the second and third rounds included the audience’ votes.
