Commemoration Dinner: Winners of Union Day Decorative Floats Awarded

A commemoration dinner for 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day was held at the facade of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall on Saturday.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Maha Thayay Sithu Min Aung Hlaing and wife, together with the SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Thayay Sithu Soe Win and wife, cordially greeted the attendees including the cultural troupes from Regions and States, chairmen and representatives from the political parties, leading members of peace-making process, representatives from 7 NCA Signatories EAOs and 4 Non-Signatories EAOs, National Races Affairs Ministers from Regions and States, Deputy Ministers, Senior Military Officers, Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, Union Level officials and SAC members.

The Prime Minister and party later enjoyed the Drone Presentation in commemoration of the Union Day. It was followed by the presentation of prizes to the winners of decorative floats. Magwe Region won first prize, Shan State won second, Ayeyawady Region won third prize and the special prizes were presented to 12 other Regions and States respectively.

After the display of fireworks, the Prime Minister and party enjoyed the commemoration dinner. Artistes from Myanma Radio Modern Music Troupe, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and Cultural Troupes of Regions and States entertained the performances.
