Preparations underway: Union Day Organization Committee held meeting

The work coordination meeting regarding the commemorative floats and entertainment to celebrate 75th Anniversary of Diamond Jubilee Union Day successfully was held at the Ministry of Information, Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

At the meeting, the chairman of 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day Celebration Organizing Committee Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said that the works are gaining momentum thanks to the unanimity and collective effort, the commemorative floats are being prepared to be imposing look by the relevant regions and states, the final works need to complete within a few days and discussed to receive COVID-19 Booster dose for those who will take part in the celebration, rehearsals, health and security matters.

Next, the committee secretary deputy minister U Ye Tint, deputy ministers U Tun Ohn  and U Zaw Aye Maung, regions and states ministers and officials reported undertakings for the commemorative floats’ taking their place, driving in parade and short rest, national races’ traditional cultural dances and performances of artistes, doing rehearsal and the agenda for singing and dancing at commemorative dinner. The chairman of organizing committee supplemented discussions and gave conclusion speech.
