Russia FM meets Swiss counterpart in Geneva

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Swiss Federal President Ignazio Cassis following Friday's critical security talks with his U.S. counterpart in Geneva.

Lavrov thanked Switzerland for providing the "right atmosphere" for dialogue and hoped to solve "numerous problems on the agenda of international community." Lavrov had earlier met with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to discuss Russia's demands on Ukraine and NATO as global tensions simmer.
