


The Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw together with the region government ministers and departmental officials arrived at Homalin Township in the morning on 17th January and the chief minister proceeded to Zawtika Myoma Monastery and offered offertories and foodstuffs to the Presiding Sayadaw.
Next, the chief minister and officials inspected the completion of Homlin Township Oxygen plant and oxygen generating, construction of mess hall which is 60 feet long and 30 feet wide of Shan literature and culture association and construction works for brick wall of traditional ground of Naga literature and culture association with the support from Sagaing Region general surplus fund in 2020-2021. Next, the chief minister U Myat Kyaw and officials met with the departmental officials at the Township Hall, attended the ceremony for achieving full success of Pan Khin project estimation, gave remark at the ceremony, handed over certificate of honor to the staff officer of Homlin Township Immigration and Population Department and citizenship scrutiny cards to the Naga national races.
The region ministers also presented citizenship scrutiny cards to the national races of Bama, Chin, and local residents individually and a Township elder extended words of thanks and concluded the ceremony. Then, the chief minister and officials viewed the COVID-19 vaccination for the locals at Township hall of Homlin Township and fulfilled necessaries.
Afterward, the chief minister U Myat Kyaw and officials attended the meeting with district and township level departmental officials and township elders at the district administration council office of Tamu Township. First, the chief minister gave an opening remark and the region ministers and region level departmental officials reported the status of relevant work implementations and the chairman of Tamu district administration council clarified the regional development works.
Then, the chief minister U Myat Kyaw provided 500,000 Kyats of cash assistance and foodstuff for the departmental personnel to the district chairman, region minister for security and border affairs gave 500,000 Kyats for the persons who are carrying out the security measures to the Township Police Major. After giving conclusion speech by the chief minister, the meeting was concluded.
Next, the chief minister and officials attended the ceremony of issuing citizenship scrutiny card and the chief minister and officials gave CSCs to the local people.
Afterward, the chief minister and officials inspected condition of oxygen generating at Tamu People’s Hospital and provided foodstuffs and 500,000 Kyats of cash assistance for the doctors, nurses and staffs to the hospital medical superintendant.
