Russian delegation arrives in Geneva for US talks

Russian delegates arrived in Geneva on Sunday for critical strategic talks with the. U.S. amid heightened tensions over Ukraine. The meeting between delegations will take place on Monday morning at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and Other International Organizations. 

The Biden administration on Saturday issued new, forceful warnings to Russia on penalties it may face if it goes ahead with threats to invade Ukraine. They also said Russia would be hit with debilitating sanctions should it intervene in Ukraine.
