Int’l Flight Restriction: Extension Till December 31

Ministry of Transport and Communications made an announcement on the 30th of November 2021. The Announcement states that the Ministry of Health has issued a directive on the temporary restriction of international commercial passenger flights to Myanmar to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Myanmar.

As the prevalence of the COVID-19 epidemic has risen in most parts of the world, with the permission of the Central Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the effective period of the directive has been extended till the 31st of December 2021 to further prevent the risk of COVID-19 transmission via international flight passengers into Myanmar.
