Drugs seized: Drugs worth over 2.21 billion Kyats arrested

The drugs worth over 2.21 billion kyats were arrested in Taunggyi Township, Shan State (South), according to Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on a tip-off, the combined forces including the members of Anti-Narcotics Task Force inspected a FUSO six-wheeler on Bayintnaung Street, Lammataw ward, Taunggyi Township, at 4:00 p.m. on November 22, driven by Aung Kyaw Min (a) Andrew accompanied by Sai Oo Maung (a) Sai Maung.

A search of the vehicle turned up 112 Kilos of ICE (methamphetamine) valued at over 2.21 billion kyats and 0.4 million of stimulant tablets. They were charged under the Law and the investigations are underway to capture the rest of the suspects.
