COVID-19 Update: 482 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on November 25

The Ministry of Health reported 482 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 25,815 lab specimens within 24 hours. 9 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 708 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 520,213 with 19,058 deaths and 494,107 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 47.70 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, The United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Islamic Republic of Iran, Germany and Argentina according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:35 p.m. Central European Time on November 25th, 2021, there have been over 258.83 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.17 million deaths, reported to WHO.

The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
