



The opening ceremony of the basic training course on business agreements (2/2021) organized by the Ministry of Legal Affairs was held at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
In her opening address, the Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo said that the ministry has been arranging the multiplier courses for the relevant ministries through the officials who have attended the basic training course on entering business contracts.
This training course are going to be attended by a total of 40 trainees from the ministry of defense, ministry of agriculture, livestock and irrigation, ministry of cooperatives and rural development, ministry of natural resources and environmental conservation, ministry of electricity and energy, ministry of industry and the ministry of legal affairs from November 23 to 26 in line with the COVID-19 preventive measures in line with “Providing Legal Service for Justice (2020-2024).
The purpose of opening this training course of the ministry of legal affairs in line with “Strategic Plan of Providing Legal Service for Justice (2020-2024) is to enabling for providing qualified legal advices timely in the process of compiling, scrutinizing and giving legal advices by the officials who are responsible for compiling and scrutinizing business agreements for the ministries including the ministry of legal affairs. Although the types of business agreements may vary depending on the work nature, it’s important to understand the basic framework.
The capacity of departmental officials who are attending this training will increase by studying the basic concepts of legal principles on scrutinizing business agreements through theoretical and practical approaches.
