Vaccine Donation: 1 Million Sinovac COVID-19 Vaccine Arrives from China

Ministry of Health has been working to control the COVID-19 disease by giving the COVID-19 vaccines to people in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, states and regions as well.

The last batch of one million doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine and syringes donated by the People's Republic of China arrived at Yangon International Airport on Sunday evening and were received by the Head of Yangon Region Medical Services and Public Health Department.

China transported the first batch of one million doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine on November 12 and another one million on November 20. So far, the Ministry of Health has purchased 31 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines and accepted over 9 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines donated by friendly countries.
