Drugs Seizures: Heroin & Stimulant Tablets Worth Over 2.4 Billion Kyats Seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Mandalay Region. In Amarapura and Pyin Oo Lwin townships of the Region, 79 kilograms of heroin and 278,000 stimulant tablets worth over 2.4 billion Kyats were seized. The seizures led to arrests of 5 men. Investigation is underway and actions have been taken against those 5 suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
