Receiving delegation: Union Minister discussed cooperation in agricultural sector

The Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Hut Oo received a delegation led by the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China H.E. Mr. Chen Hai at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, at the reception hall of the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw and discussed the matters on the bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.

The deputy minister Dr. Aung Gyi, permanent secretary and director-generals of the departments also attended the meeting and the development of food production collaborating between Myanmar and China, boosting of consumer safety agricultural and livestock production, uplifting trade of agricultural, meat and aqua products and the matter to enter into agreement for acquiring certificate on clearance of microbial contamination etc.
