Honouring Ceremony: Medical Staff and Volunteers in COVID-19 Fight Honoured

Medical staff and volunteers making efforts and participating in the fight against COVID-19 disease in Mandalay Region were honoured on Sunday evening. The Ceremony in Maha Aungmyay Township was attended by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko and many other officials as well as those representing the medical staff and volunteers.

This Ceremony began with a speech by the Region Chief Minister and continued with presenting honourary gifts and certificates of honour for the medical staff and volunteers. In Myanmar, medical staff, ministries, associations, organizations and volunteers have been working for the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures since the outbreak.
