State Administration: Senior General Meets with Mandalay Region Government

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Wednesday held a meeting with members of the Mandalay Region Government.

In the meeting at the Regional Government Office in Aungmyaythazan Township, the Senior General urged the Mandalay City Development Committee and the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development to join hands in manufacturing the value-added products of agriculture and livestock farming tasks.

Products of agriculture and livestock breeding tasks must be mass production. The Region Chief Minister and ministers reported on development tasks of the city and uplift of the sports sector in the Region. Members of the State Administration Council and Union ministers gave supplementary reports.

In his response, the Senior General stressed agriculture sector, construction of the underground circular railways in the future, the need to reduce the use of fuel, bus lines and circular trains running in Mandalay City, domestic transport and tourism services and trees planting for ensuring favourable climatic conditions.

The Senior General also said that if a household solar system can be implemented in the rural area of the Mandalay Region, the electricity demand will be solved.
