9-Month Address: SG Stresses Self-Reliant Efforts and Cooperation

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Monday delivered an address on assumption of the State duties by the State Administration Council during the 9 months period.

In his address, the Senior General wished health and happiness for all the national people of the Union. He also explained the five-point roadmap adoption, reestablishment of the Union Election Commission, continuous, effective and accelerated preventive measures against COVID-19 including the vaccination programme and Stay-at-Home order, cooperation amid the disease outbreak, release of detainees and inmates under amnesty orders, reopening of basic education schools including except for the schools in 46 townships from nine regions and states where the infection rate of the disease is still high and importance of adherence to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines.

He also stressed the economic situation of the country including imports, exports, trade volume and importance of border trade and Small and Medium Enterprises. The Senior General stressed the self-reliant efforts and cooperation to make the country develop, progressive and stable.
