Training course: MoC opens commercial attaché training course (2021)

The Ministry of Commerce held the opening ceremony of the commercial Attaché Training Course (2021) Monday morning in Nay Pyi Taw.

At the opening ceremony, Union Minister for Commerce Dr Pwint San said a total of 38 officials from related ministries will attend the training and qualified candidates will be carefully selected. The Head of the State also relies on commercial attachés as frontline fighters for the economic development of the country, the Union Minister continued.

The training plans to deliver subjects that must be known as a commercial attaché, the trainees to learn with interest and try to be ready to serve by connecting with current commercial attachés’ experience and information, to study the lectures diligently as ways to export a variety of products for the development of the country’s exports; compliance with standards, finding new markets and export market expansion, negotiation and trade law procedures with other countries must be studied and applied in practice.

Afterwards, the Deputy Minister urged trainees to focus on the subjects delivered during the course. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, Senior Officials of the Ministry of Commerce, and a total of 38 trainees.
