COVID-19 Fight: Medical Supplies Imports Continue Title

Ministry of Commerce is making efforts to ensure people have access to the essential medical supplies that are critical to the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities, including liquid oxygen and oxygen cylinders, arranging continuous importation on public holidays. On the 26th of August, anti-COVID-19 equipment, medical products including oxygen plants and concentrators were imported by 25 companies.

A total of 90 tonnes of liquid oxygen, 13,173 empty oxygen cylinders, seven oxygen plants, 919 home oxygen concentrators, 4,104 sets of Covid-19 test kits, 4,800 sets of PPE suits, and 25 tonnes of masks were imported via Muse, Chinshwehaw, Kampaiti, Myawady, Tachileik, and Hteekhee trading posts and Yangon International Airport.
