
Ministry of Health and Sports reported 2,070 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 9,457 lab specimens within 24 hours with 13 new deaths and 549 COVID-19 positive patients discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 159,347 with 3,347 deaths and 136,992 COVID patients discharged from the hospitals until 8 p.m. on July 1.
The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 33.31 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Russian Federation, Turkey, The United Kingdom, Argentina, Italy and Colombia according to the World Health Organization.
Globally, as of 6:28 p.m. Central European Standard Time on July 1, 2021, there have been over 181.93 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.94 million deaths, reported to WHO.
