COVID-19 Update: 1,225 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on June 28

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 1,225 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 6,586 lab specimens within 24 hours with 12 new deaths and 290 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 154,385 with 3,309 deaths and 135,703 COVID patients discharged from the hospitals until 8 p.m. on 28th of June.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 33.28 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Russian Federation, Turkey, The United Kingdom, Argentina, Italy and Colombia according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:47 p.m. CEST on 28th of June 2021, there have been over 180.81 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.92 million deaths, reported to WHO.
