Trees Plantation: Union Minister Makes Inspection in Mandalay Region

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi made inspection in Mandalay Region. First, on June 26, the Union Minister inspected firewood plantation in Nwar Hto Gyi Township and gave necessary instructions.

 Also, he visited Min Sone Taung  Wildlife Conservation Area, heard reports on conservation works and stressed importance of conservation.

The Union Minister also inspected trees plantation areas in Kyaukse Township before handing out instructions. On June 27, the Union Minister met with Chairman of Mandalay Region Administration Council and other officials.

At the office of the Council, he stressed matters including trees plantation programme in 2021, firewood plantation plan, environmental conservation and cooperation between the Ministry and the Mandalay Region Administration Council. The meeting concluded with discussions on plans in the future.
