COVID-19 Report: 783 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on June 26

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 783 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 5,555 lab specimens within 24 hours.

8 COVID positive patients have died while 271 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 152,356 with 3,290 deaths and 135,050 COVID patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The public’s cooperation is requested to address wearing masks systematically when it comes to going outside, frequently washing hands and practising social distancing to control the spread of COVID disease, the MOHS instructs for office/department staff and every family’s active cooperation as the COVID preventive measures including giving notice and reminders in regards to staying safe.
