Yangon Electricity Distribution: Meeting Held to Manage Plants and System

A meeting was held on Saturday to manage 230 KV power plants and distribution system as electricity consumption in Yangon Region increases.

At the Yangon Electricity Distribution Corporation, Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Aung Than Oo stressed the expansion of the electricity distribution system and the need to upgrade the power plants and replace the old power lines with the new ones. He also called for efforts for a stable electricity distribution system and to reduce power outage and loss.

The meeting continued with discussions by attendees on the condition of the power plants.
