Goodwill Visit: C-in-C Holds Talks with President of Tatarstan

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr Rustam Nurgaliyevich Minnikhanov on Friday evening.

At the President’s Office in Kremlin, the Senior General and the President held talks and exchanged gifts.

After the talks, the Senior General signed the Guests’ book.

Also, the Senior General and the President together with the delegates held a discussion on the promotion of Russia-Myanmar relations, a visit of the President to Myanmar in 2013 and meetings for economic cooperation, political changes and the State Administration Council’s ongoing tasks in line with the existing laws in Myanmar. The two sides also held talks on the promotion of trade and investment and cooperation on industrial development and education, economy and oil and gas sectors.

After the discussion, the delegates led by the Senior General attended a dinner hosted by the President.

During the dinner, traditional performances of the Republic of Tatarstan were staged. The Senior General gave cash prizes and bouquets to the artists.

On the same day, the delegation led by the Senior General visited Kremlin in Kazan of the Republic of Tatarstan, Blagoveshenskiy Church and Kul Sharif Mosque.
