Drugs seized: 150 million Kyats worth stimulant tablets seized

The stimulant tablets worth 150 Million Kyats were seized in Loi Lin Township, Shan State (South), according to the source of Myanmar police Force.

While the combined forces including the members of Anti-Narcotics Task Force were carrying out the inspections near Ho Tint Village on the Loi Lin-Taunggyi Road, Loi Lin Township at 10:30 a.m. on June 19, as a Crown motor vehicle evaded the spot of inspection and drove to the direction of Ho Tint Village, the task force made arrangements to capture it.

The task force arrested Sai Kyaw Win and Sai Maung together with 300,000 stimulant tablets worth 150 Million Kyats in regional current price.

The suspects have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law and the investigation is underway to reveal the chain of accomplices, it’s learnt.
